My dad had an upper GI series done today due to feeling like he has trapped air in his stomach. Well, the radiologist or the technician, that part I'm not sure, told my dad the esophagus appears to be fully blocked. He can eat, it just takes a long time for the food to go where it needs to. I'm so upset. Why can't he just get a break. I know I shouldn't complain because he's been eating and has gained weight and looks pretty good, but why this now. He was supposed to be on a rest from chemo. We were looking forward to having a great Thanksgiving and him being able to eat and enjoy his food. I'm rambling, sorry. I need to vent to someone. Please keep him in your prayers along with everyone else here. I was praying for some good news that we just never seem to get.

    Erika,

    I know how you feel. Like you never get a break. I don't know if you saw my post this morning, but they found 2 spots on mu husbands liver on the CT they did yesterday. They weren't there 2 months ago. I would like to hope it is nothing, but deep inside I know better. Keep being strong. Thats all you can do. I don't have alot of words of wisdom for you, but I do know how you feel.

    Hi,

    I guess you didn't know this when I got your e-mail this morning!!! Is Dad's esophagus
    blocked by the tumor? Have the talked about putting in a stent? I may not know until you talk to Mom. Let me know whats up!!!
