I had my port taken out Oct. 5, there is a bit more of a scar than when they put it in, due to scar tissue, but I don't even care. Congrats, it is such a freeing feeling isn't it?
I am so happy for you to be rid of that thing! My mom gets hers out next Wednesday. It is such a sense of closure. -

doesnt it feel great not to have that thing poking out.i got mine out in sept.the scar still itches every now and then but at least i can scratch it.Godbless....johnnybegood -
