i was daignosed feb 2 with esphogus cancer went through 28 treatments of rad and every 28 days recievd chemo 1 bag at hospital then carried a pump bag arond for 5 days for 4 months,had tumers in lower throat with 1 lymph node in right shoulder involved stage 3 or 4,3 months ago docs said no tumors and no cancer in throat good news.there just worried now hit lymph node down the road,been off chemo 6 months now,working out now at ymca trying to get a strong healthly body to fight this beast.went to kaiser permente in bellflower ca,still trying to get throat opened up to swallow better rad left scar tiissue in throat possibly cancer went through esphosgus into trakea,get my 6 month ct scan jan crossing fingers.sqamis cell type 2 cancer they say its very aggressive.my doctor said 40 percent cure rate,do people survive this.
