Update
This is my 5th time of not having chemo on schedule today! But I have had it 7 times now, with 7 more to go (7 cycles suppose to be twice a month).
Even with the Neumega shots 3-5 times a week, my platelets do not always recover in 13 days to have chemo again. The Neulasta works great for the white counts (problem first time around).
Good news is that last month CA 125 was down to 19.2, will have blood work for CA after I get this 4b treatment completed. Had CTscan and things look good in the abdomen. So I am thankful and Praising the Lord.
Side effects from chemo have been yukky this time compared to first time with carbo/taxol. Side effects from Neumega are about as bad as the chemo, maybe even worse because of the swelling in legs, bleeding eyes, etc.
Have gotten use to side effects of Neulasta - flu like symptoms and back and spine spasms. Did I just say I am use to that??
The things we have to put up with to stay alive!
Our pastor emeritus said we Christian pray for each other to stay well to keep out of Heaven longer!!! ☺
I have asked my Lord if I can live longer to get to know Him better before I do stand before Him.
"............,but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold for me. ...........Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." Phil. 3:12-14

Dear Libby,
I am so sorry that you have to get the marrow booster shots on top of the chemo. Bummer! However, you have been given a wonderful attitude about it all. You never fail to cheer me up with your faith and humor!
Here is an Indian Proverb that I like.... "Life is like a wild tiger. You can either lie down and let it lay its paw on your head --- or sit on its back and ride it." I think of chemo like the tiger. I'm going to ride it every chance I get!!! Saundra0 -
