liver resection

Good to Hear!
I had no complications. And recall nothing particularly special. They will watch her closely for several days. Pain management is a bit of an issue with such a large incision. Mine healed well. 65% leaves her lots of "hepatic reserve" as they call it. I was longer recovering after my colon resection.
I hope the next days go well.

Melody,
I'm so sorry about your mom's stroke. Both of my parents have had them (unrelated to cancer), and I know it's scary business. But both are fine now!
I'll be praying for your mom.
*hugs*
