6 weeks post op, first chemo treatment yesterday. It seems like a long road ahead, but I was glad to read your post. You are living one of my future goals.
Just believe there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Time does pass quickly even when you are not having fun. Best of luck to you with your treatment.

That's what is cool about this board. If I can give one person inspiration or be of help in any way, it really makes my day. My heart goes out to you as you begin your journey. We will both keep trucking and I'll keep you in my prayers.

great!
This is great news, indeed. Thank you for sharing it with us- we need to have hope and having people share about how well they're doing definitely gives us that!
Great for you on the running!
Have you been taking anything for the ongoing neuropathy in your feet?
Taking B-6, L-glutamine, L-lysine daily certainly couldn't hurt & it might help!
I still have some slight neuropathy in my feet a year and a half after taking the Oxy that caused it, but it's barely there anymore. I had taken the above supplements daily and now I still take them at least 2-3 times a week.
Best wishes and live strong!

Thanks for you reply Lisa, I try to be good about taking my vitamins. I will go check to see what is in them. I know there is B-6. I'm hoping as time passes the numbness will fade away. See, you gave me hope.
Take Care,

good for you! what wonderful news. You certainly must be giving hope to some newbies and inspiration to this "oldie". Two half marathons, that's amazing....well done.
Just imagine it's Nov 10, it's still 50 degrees, last year we were under a mountain of snow that never left till spring. i am strapping on those runners and getting out for a walk
Thanks and stay strong,
