Joint pain and chemo

I have been on Temodar for 9 months now and am starting to experience some intense joint pain. I could chalk up the pain and stiffness to getting older but I am 30 and have never had joint issues like this.

I am wondering if this is in any way related to chemo. I have read that breast cancer patients experience this during (and after) chemo, but I can't find any info about us brain cancer people.

I emailed my doctor but am wondering if anyone else has experienced this while on Temodar.

Thanks.

Liz

My NP authorized for me to take glucosamine supplements with chondroitin, and now my joint pain is a lot better. She told me to take it "religiously" without skipping a day, because if you do the stiffness comes back.

This seems to do the trick.

    Chemo and joint pain

I started chemo in October 2011 for stage 2 B with lymph nodes positives. At the very onset I had some pretty severe leg pain. And it has only gotten worse. I am 5 years out and I have the  pain ever. I have it in my shoulders, back, ribs , hips, knees. Ankles. A nd my feet still feel like pins and needles. Does any one else still feel this bad after every one else tells me I should be fine.
