Things are always just a
Things are always just a little strange and just "off kilter" during a full moon!
The surroundings outside just feel a bit "odd", "different to me. Sometimes when I get that feeling, I'll say to myself, "I wonder if theres a full moon?" and sure enough there usually is!
And if you'll notice, people in general act a bit differently, people in the family, in the stores. Some, but not all, are grumpier, quicker to anger.
Years ago, when I worked as a nurses aid in a convalescent hospital on the night shift, the patients were much more active, had a hard time sleeping and so forth.
I love the full moon, I believe it shows just how connected ,physically ,mentally and spiritually, that people are to the universe.

Jack loved full moons, we would always just go outside and look at it, It brought Jack peace for some reason, maybe it is the native amercia in him, Yea I know it is a long night for me too, I have to stay up all night and listen for him because the hospice nurse we have does not know how to suction a trachea and if he start to gurgle I have to do it, We are at the last days, and when jack was a wake we also had a time keeping him settle down, but we got medication that helped him settle down but did not make him sedated, Its 2:30 in the morning and Im doing everything I can to stay a wake, My sister law is going to relieve me at 4:00 but she does not know how to suction either but I can sleep and she will wake me , being a care taker is hard, you think when the hospice nurses come in you get some relief but not much

Many Years Ago
Many years ago my husband was studying criminology and asked me to go to a lecture with him. There's a belief among a lot of law enforcement that there is more crime and more loony behavior during a full moon. The lecture was by a man who had done a study of this. Lo and Behold, the study found that there actually was more crime then. So we're not the only ones who notice this. I think we just notice it more during times of stress. Take care of yourself. Get some rest whenever possible and cherish your time together. Fay0
