It pains me to write this and through tears - tears of love, respect, friendship, and an aching heart for Mark and his family - Mark has transcended to the next part of his journey. Mark left us yesterday morning to make his way to where angles are no doubt laughing it up with him. Mark touched so many people during his time here on Earth - he will be missed by his partner, Earl, and his daughter Kara, and his two sons Caleb and Eli, as well as his mom, his brothers and many other family members...and many, many friends, many of them here at CSN.
Please lift up your prayers and blessings, good thoughts, to Mark and his loved ones.
God Speed, Mark - you will forever be loved and will forever be missed. Love you, brother!

Oh! So Sad!
Thanks for sharing this news. Sad as it is. I am truly hurt to hear this. Although he hasn't posted recently Mark was very active and very helpful in his day. He was alway upbeat. No matter what he was going through... and it was a lot. Too much! He was also way ahead of the curve in his knowledge of conventional and complementary treatments and therapies.
My prayers are with Earl, Kara, Caleb, Eli, his dear Mom, siblings and friends. What a loss for them all. And for us.
Here is a piece from his profile page which says a lot about the kind of guy he was...
"I have learned the value of a friend, I have learned the value of a day, I have learned the importance of saying your feelings of love and not holding them in. I have learned the total waste of time and energy negative thoughts and feelings bring you, what a total waste of a day. Mostly, I have learned that to fill your heart with love and happiness, you simply have too give, let go and receive from others. It does feel so good. I appreciate much more than before. I love much deeper and my faith is much stronger. The relationships I have in my life today are more meaningful that I have ever had in the past." Limey
Remember, reflect, release...

"I want others to know that no matter what may come my way, that cancer has not and is not beating me down, it may adjust my sails, but it is not stopping the boat. Each of us has a journey that we are on. Cancer may be a part of my journey, but it does not make me who I am. My partner, my children, my family and my friends are what make me who I am." Limey -

Worst news
This was the news i was worried about hearing. I've been so concerned for Mark since he stopped posting a long time ago. Mark was very special to me because he made me feel so much better when i was down. He almost always responded to my negative posts with hope for the future.
I'm going to miss him very much.
My love to his family,

I am so sorry
I am just stunned by this. He was so upbeat and a great jpy to read. I never met him but I read everything he put out. He was a great inspiration to me and I am sitting here with a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomache...why are the best taken? All my love to his friends and family.
