PEG tube and Nutren 2.0- my husband is having problems, any one else?

My husband was diagnosed with EC about 6 weeks ago. Since then he is had a PEG tube and a port-a-cath placed. I was hoping the PEG would help him with nutrition since we are starting chem/rad next week but he is having trouble with it. He gets hot sweat episodes after feeding. He is taking one can at a time twice a day but his body is doing this weird thing that I don't know if he is just not used to it or if its an adverse reaction or what. I don't see the Doc till Tuesday. Anyone having these problems? Other supplements that can be suggested? He needs 2,500 cals a day per nutritionist. Today we only did 1 thousand and he had such a bad time.

Sherri thank you for the info. You guys are all wonderful. Today Dan is in the hospital, he starts his treatment tonight for 16 hours straight. I pray everything goes well.

I had a question for you. Do you live in Round Rock, I saw the rr in your email. I ask because we live in Round Rock.
