Even though I have been off the chemo for 24 or so days, with going on my trip and Dr. cancelling chemo when I got back because of my pain,so he scheduled scan instead. I had my 10th chemo yesterday and it's weird that all of my pain is gone now! anyway my cea level was down from 11-10.5 I was so excited about that news since I was off for so long and he had cut the oxi the last two treatments before vacation. I hope this is a good sign!!! :) Bummed about the bag I am on, tomorrow is the big BBQ bluegrass festival at my church, it is my committee to to put this on and all the proceeds go to the building repairs and grounds. Alot of work! So I am sad about this one. But if I changed my chemo around it would have interfered with Thanksgiving and Christmas. Oh well, we bargain right! Patti

    I am really glad that your CEA (& pain!) are down. I am sorry you have the bag on during the festival but I hope you have a great time. Today is my youngest daughter's 16th birthday & I am heading to chemo. I baked her a cake yesterday & hope my chemo is on time so I can spend some time with her today. Sometimes chemo, tests etc. just don't land on the best days!
