Exciting news for me today!!!

I am so excited!! I got a phone call today from the hospitial breast center that diagnosed my cancer. They have asked me to be a part of their hospitial breast cancer advisory board they are starting up!!! I'm not sure of all the details yet but I definatly accepted. From what I was told there will be about 4 patients and the rest will be whomever is involved with diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer patients. I feel really honored to be asked and am still in shock that they chose me??? I will be getting more information in the next week or so. Ever since I was diagnosed I've wanted to somehow make a difference in someone else's life in a positive way. I have Prayed about it many times!!! Today my Prayers have been answered!!!

    That is fantastic! What an honor to be chosen for such a position! God does work in mysterious ways & maybe that is why the trial fell though when it did. Perhaps it was to prepare you for something much larger. This was odviously meant for you. Your prayers were indeed answered! And it won't just be in "someone's" life, it sounds like it will change the lives of "many". What an incredible blessing you received today! Can't wait to hear what's involved so keep us posted.

    That is HUGE!!! I am so happy for you and its great to know that you will be there to contribute your experiences and knowledge to the advisory board. After all, the patients perspective should be a top priority dont you think??
