I went dancing with NED!!!!!!! YIPPEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been declared cancer free- No Evidence of Disease!!!! It has been one long hard year but its over and I can get my life back to the new normal!!! Nothing will ever be the same again. I will not take anything for granted ever again. I will stay close to those who love me and supported me through all of this, and kiss off on the ones who refused. I am eternally greatful to my online buddies for all of your love and support and I don't think I ever want to leave this site. There are so many of us out there just starting this journey. If I can be of any help to anyone or even just one person, I will be happy. To those of you just losing your hair, remember, it WILL grow back, that was one of my big fears. Chemo is awful, but you can do it - FIGHT LIKE A GIRL!!!! Rads is a piece of cake except for the daily ritual and the rash, which takes a while to show up, and then goes away almost as quickly. Now, lets go DANCING!!!!!

    I want to make him dance until his feet fall off - he has to dance with each and every one of us, so he will be exhausted!!!!! He will not skip anyone!!!!!

    That's wonderful news! Congrats! I hope you don't leave this site, you have been a tremendous help to all of us Newbies just sharing what you have been through already. Now you have the gift of NED. You have so much to offer!
    I am losing my hair in handfuls as I type.(Day 13)I will try to give it one more day b/4 I break out the clippers. I love your Chemo advice! Thanks! I will "fight like a girl"! :-) Haven't even began to think of rads yet...

    NED means No Evidence of Disease. We think of him as a dance partner who glides us around the floor. I think he must be a square dancer. You know, swing that partner, now change hands, doe see doe, and doing those hand over hand things. Only way he could be dancing with so many of us at the same time. But then I do love a tango.
