LAR (low anterior resection)

Has anyone had the LAR procedure and, if so, what side effects did you experience? Did you have fecal incontinece?

    But you can go back in and edit the multiple posts to delete the other 2.
    Give the computer time to post your comment otherwise you get multiples.

    Yes, 12/05 for rectal
    Yes, 12/05 for rectal cancer. No incontinence. Minor side effects: rectal gas, more frequent bowel movements.

    Yes 9/08
    I had a great surgeon. Incision healed well; no complications form surgery. I do have "clustering" or multiple poop syndrome (MPS), more gas, and watch what I eat-smaller meals, no cherries, no watermelon for example for me.
