    Hello, Lisa & All!!
Oh, Lisa, thank you for thinking of me. And I apologize for being out of touch lately....
My chemo-brain never remembers to sign in once I get on the computer lately. Plus I've just
mostly been recovering from those 2 hospital stays, 25lbs lost, and extremely low blood counts.

Yesterday I had my 3rd dose of Taxol/Carbo + Avastin. But after my 2nd treatment, my CA went UP 9 points. It's at 62.5 right now; not too bad, as the scale on this test is 0-17. I'm
hoping that this treatment will bring it down. So far, so good as far as side-effects. But
the nausea/vomiting/diarrhea usually hits me about 3 days after treatment. Last treatment he
lowered my dose by 10% due to the weight loss, so I'm wondering if that's why I didn't get as
sick. He kept the dose the same, so I'm hoping this month will be as easy, but not if it means that the chemo isn't working so well. I just hope my CA falls.

I hope you are feeling well, and getting your back healed. Boy, it's always something, isn't
    it?

Anyway, your post made my day, and I thank you for that. God be with you, and with us all~

    Love,
    ~Susan xoxo
