No cost of living for 2010;yet health plan costs increasing

    They were saying at one time
    They were saying at one time that there would not be a cost of living raise for 2010 or 2011. I certainly hope this is not the case.

    CSRS Retiree
    I'm a retired Federal employee under CSRS (Civil Service Retirement System). Unfortunately, coloCan is correct. No COLA for retirees or Social Security recipients for 2010. This was official yesterday. But our health insurance premiums are going way up, especially Blue Cross. And they say our cost of living has decreased.

    SSI recepients
    SSI recepients will not be getting a raise either. :( This is our only income in a house of 3 adults. Hope things turn around soon.
