abnormal mass

Hello all. The other day as I was bending over to tie my shoe, I got a sharp pain in my lower right abdomen, this has happened 3 more times since then. I laid on my bed and felt around and found a lump in my abdomen on the right side. I am 51 years old and had a hystorectomy 20 years ago, the dr left my tubes and ovaries. I went to see my gp, he felt the lump and has scheduled me for a CT scan and us this week. Since I saw my gp, I am having and urgency to urinate (not all the time) and I am feeling a burning sensation in my lower abdomen when I urinate. I have put a few pounds on this year - 5. As I sit in my office chair, I can feel the lump. I don't even know what my question is! I just don't know how to feel, other than scared.

PRAYERS TO YOU BOTHlaj2360 said:Mary Anne, you and I are
Mary Anne, you and I are both waiting for a reply. Don't be scared. It's good to have the C T. Thank the Dr.! But don't dwell. Wait for the results. Hopefully it's simple! My prayers are with you.
All these symptoms can be a multitude of things. The waiting is just pure torture, I know. Thank God we have some diagnostic tools that work together to get to the bottom of these situations. Till then, hugs and prayers to you both for strength and peace, one day at a time. Let us know.

CT good
It is good that you are having a CT scan. That will answer the question. I have two scans..one with barium and one with iodine dye. That has always pinpointed my tumors if they are there.
Should you be scheduled for surgery...be sure to get a gyn/onc to do it. This is most important!!!!
Keep us posted. Saundra0 -
