Can't Eat Popcorn?

If you can't eat popcorn because of an ileostomy/colostomy, diverticulitis, or for whatever reason, the following is a good substitution. My son mentioned it yesterday and I had forgotten all about it. You put some butter in the bottom of a pan (or margarine - I use the spray "I can't believe it's not butter" because it has no calories, or anything else). Put some Cheerios in pan so they are lightly coated with the butter/margarine, but not soggy. It take more Cheerios than you think. Fry them until they become crispy and add a little salt to taste (they will become really small when they are done). Yummy they are so good. I could eat the whole box.
If anyone tries it let me know what you think.
Hugs! Kim

Thanks for posting, Kim. That sounds good. I have never heard of it. I do have problems with popcorn and nuts. Thanks for sharing that. -

...eat popcorn and nuts, I have a colostomy bag, but I only take a handful, and chew it really really well, so hopefully it digests in teeny pieces, and haven't had a problem with it yet, but this recips sounds yummy! thanks for sharing Kim!
Hugsss!
