Hormonal imbalances?
Brief reminder....I had a full hysterectomy & debulking on the 17th, thankfully I am classified as 'Borderline'.
Now that I have had some time to consider all that happened in a matter of days, I am curious if anyone knows whether or not your hormones make you nutty when your body is going through all that it does prior to knowing what is going on. Does that even make sense?
I am asking because for several months before I had even heard the words Ovarian Cancer from my Dr. my moods and sudden bursts of anger were totally unpredictable.
Neither of those are characteristics I normally display.... I am wondering if anyone else experienced anything similar?
Thanks in advance and blessings to you all!!!

Hi
Hi,
My hormones were all out of whack before I knew I had cancer. I thought it was perimenepause. I knew something was going on, but I didn't know for sure. I didn't have anger but forgot things, would cry at the drop of a hat. Hormones do a lot of weird things.
How are you doing now?

I am doing okay, sore but okay.
Trying to keep myself all happy and upbeat, because although I am beyond grateful and thankful for the dx of Borderline I'm feeling a little post surgery something, let down, depression, I am not sure what to call it-besides crazy!!!
I think the brevity of it all is hitting me now...all of a sudden I have lists and lists of questions I wished I'd asked. Everything happened so fast I really didn't have a lot of time to think/process...now that I am laid up I have A LOT of time to think!
Oh, as far as the hormonal stuff....I couldn't remember/find anything, (milk in the cabinet, etc..) I would forget simple stuff like brushing my teeth...TOTALLY whacky for me! So I suppose I had a bit of everything, but the anger really concerned me!
All in all I am doing well, thanks for asking.
I hope that you are doing well.
Blessings to you!0 -

Hi, I'm doing well. In chemo now. Two more to go. Do you have to have more treatment?

No, I don't have to have anymore treatment.
Just frequent check ups...I know that some Oncologists will do chemo to kill anything that might be in there, I am thankful that mine did not suggest that! I would have done whatever they told me...God has definitely been watching out for me!!
not sure what is better...I am just thankful that so far removing the 'stuff' took the cancer out with it!
Has it been awful for you?
