You are not delusional Marcia. They did change it. So, you are fine, no need to panic. Or, maybe it is both of us...OMG! lol

Personally I think this is a bad move if it was intentional. If a person is diagnosed with breast cancer and looking for information in a panic I think they ought to be able to look over the breast cancer forum before having to register and log in. Especially since some people have email delays. Imagine the panic you felt when you were first diagnosed... you come home, try to look up information, and you can't even browse the forum without a wait?0 -

They did change the sign in. I am not for sure when it happened, as I am not on everyday, but, this morning I had to sign in to read the postings, just like you had to. I am not for sure why they changed it and I am not for sure that it is such a good idea. Maybe Greta can fill is in on why they altered it.

Yes, I agree and some people won't register unless they can see what it's all about also. I just read for a long time until I couldn't resist answering a question that I knew didn't happen very often. If some people want to make trouble they will take the time to register anyway. We've had that in the past already. Not sure how just reading is a problem. Private stuff can be PM'd. It shouldn't be on the public board anyway.0 -

I had to sign in to the site too to read the posts. I wonder why they changed it.

Whatcha talkin' about????
HUH???? As usual, I have no idea what you are talking about~ I haven't noticed anything different with CSN. I have always had to sign in, and I have been a member since 2003! I know that by not signing in, I could read, but not respond to or start a new thread...but that has always been the case. So, what am I missing??? I sign in, and then decide where I want to go~ and its usually ( but not always) the Boards. I take it this is not the case with everyone else???? Again, huh????

Yeah, I wouldn't always sign in first. I'd lurk about to see if there were any need to sign in. If I could post something, I'd go back and sign in. I do everything backward.
Now you have to sign in to read the postings.0 -

ah ha~ see what happens when you want to be a Stalker instead of a Talker? LOL They are only separated by one letter.... I have always signed in when I get to CSN and stay logged in until I shut my computer down at night. Shows you how much I have ever paid attention! LOL

Hmm, that's weird
I have it up on my iphone, when I just want to read on the bus or something, but I'm not signed in. I wonder if that will work anymore. Let me check.... Yep, it still works for me. I can read the posts, but need to log-in to respond to something. Wonder why some people can't read without signing in...

Now I can read and not sign in. I'm getting dizzy. I guess if I have to I will and if I don't have to I won't.
As far as I remember ,I've always had to sign in and then click Breast Cancer before I could get into this section! I don't notice any change! HUGS!! Cathy0 -

That happened to me this morning. That whole area: Discussion Boards, Announcements, etc was missing. But just now it was there and I was able to read without signing in.
It worked for me this morning. But, we will see if it lasts. lol
