My scan schedule
Linda,
My liver resection was in February and I will complete my last (hopefully) chemo treatment on November 2. After that I will get a scan mid-November and will then scan every 3 months for 2 years after that. I haven't asked what happens after the 2 years as I don't want to get too ahead of myself and I am taking this step by step. We haven't talked about bloodwork but I believe I will have it done every 6 weeks along with my liver pump glycerol refill.
Keep up the faith!!!

Scan Cycles Vary by Onc
Hi Linda
Whenever I've had a recurrence, I was getting a CT and PET scan every 3 mos - good news there is that they are eyeballing it closely.
After the 1st year, I went to CT and PET every 6 mos.
Year 2 went like that too...if you can make it to 3 years, then it goes to 1 time a year for a CT and PET.
Any recurrence, starts the meter over and back down to 3 mos.
Now, having said that, that was my old onc's plan of doing things.
What the new guy will do - I'll just have to wait and see.
