TOMARROW COULD BE THE DAY!!!!!!
Tomarrow is Al's Appt. with Dr. Luketich this hopefully will be the day that we get the date for surgery!!!!! Our appt is at 9:20 am, so that means we may get to see him by noon.
I am so excited as most of you know we have been waiting for this day to come for some time now. Al has gained about 7lbs which is a big deal in itself, but he is getting stronger and looking like his old self.
I know that we are going to have a long road to recovery after surgery but I will deal with that later.
Lori, I will be wearing MY BIG GIRL PANTIES tomarrow just in case!!!!!
I know that I don't have to ask, but a few extra prayers sent our way would be great!!
I will let everyone know how things turn out when we get home tomarrow.
THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HAS BEEN THERE FOR US UP UNTIL NOW FOR ALL OF YOUR SUPPORT!!!!!
TALK TO YOU ALL TOMARROW.

Phase one down!
Kath,
My prayers are with you tomorrow for spectacular news!
I see Al is in his 40's. Wow stage iv & going to surgery, impressive!!
You got him through the WORST part CHEMO and he has gained 7#s!!
No feeding tube! You are a super caregiver.
The surgery will be a piece of cake, you won't
believe what they do in six days. Al won't remember the first three.
My 60 yr old husband is 5 weeks out of surgery. He was out of the hospital in 6 days,
nibbling on bits of soft french toast & maple syrup the 7th!
He's T3 N1 and 5 of the 16 lymph nodes removed had tumor so going to make the post op chemo plan on oct 8.
I'm happy to be of any support to you, anytime.
Keep the faith, miracles happen.

Hi Kath,
Prayers being said for Al and so happy he is getting surgery date!!! hugs and good thoughts!
Kathy, I see you said your husband is 60 and doing so good after surgery, need those happy stories. My surgery will be after Thanksgiving and I am T3N1MO. Hearing how Al has done so good and your husband also makes me have more hope. That is what we need here lots and lots of it. Our little Kitten makes all our troubles seem so small, and what an example she has given to all of us. Good luck Al and Kathy!! way to go!!
