Doing very wellNew Flower said:How are you doing today ?
Ladies,
we have not heard from you
Hi New Flower. I think I'm doing very well. I have no symptoms that would send up red flags. I take my daily pill of Femara, and get a Zometa infusion once a month. The dr said I could have a pt scan in April to see where I'm at with the treatment. He said he didn't thing it was necessary, but would order it for my peace of mind. I expect a good report. -
Chemo StartedNew Flower said:How are you doing today ?
Ladies,
we have not heard from you
Have done two rounds of Taxol/Avastin . . . third is on Friday. Hair is very slowly starting to come out. Fabulous wig in the wings. I won't have tumor markers tracked until after my first cycle (2/3) and scan after two cycles. I have had to stop visiting my other discussion board (breastcancer.org) because a lot of ladies are not doing too well over there these days, except one survivor posting her SEVENTEENTH cancerversary with Stage IV. (Wooo hooo!) I feel badly "abadoning" them, but I really need to feel positive with this first chemo. I pray for them and all of us regularly.
