Experience with Xelira and extreme cramps?

My partner just did his second dose of Xelira (Xeloda, Irinotecan & Avastin) on Friday and starting Saturday afternoon began having severe abdominal cramps which are really bad today. He says he's never felt worse in his life. He called the on-call oncologist, who said he had never heard of anything like this. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what helped make it better. The other thing to add to the mix is that he just had cyber knife treatments this past week on 3 consecutive days, but everyone says cyber knife is without side effects. Any suggestions would be great -

Xeloda
I am not familiar with Xelira or the combination of drugs he is on- just found it interesting a few posts below the same concerns over Xeloda causing pretty bad stomach cramps/pain.
