This week I have been diagnosed with NH ( Malt ) lymphoma of the stomach... I was SO VERY shocked / disappointed as I thought I was very healthy... I feel confused & like my head is spinning...Does anyone have ANY information to share about their experience with Lymphoma ?
I have been doing research online... I have NOT been staged yet.

diagnosis
the first is the worst so far. When they told me they suspected in March you could have knocked me over with a feather. I had a bout of diverticulitis that wouldn't go away so I thought they were going to tell me I needed a colon resection. I thought lymphoma was one of the deadliest cancers...used to hear "it is in the lymph nodes" so I thought that brought you close to death.
Many tests, biopsy, bone marrow test and surgery later, I am now facing the decision to start Rituxin.
I dwelled on it constantly at first but the more I read the more I realized how lucky I was; and of course I was just one of many fighting the battle. In a way, it does get easier.
Read alot, pray a lot, ask lots of questions.
Good luck, God Bless...Sheila
