Ladies, I hope you all have the opportunity to attend such an uplifting meeting as I did Monday. We had 2 hours of great uplifting hopeful speeches and a wonderful lunch. The main speaker way Fran Di Giacomo, arthor of " I'd Rather Do Chemo than Clean out the Garage: Choosing Laughter Over Tears" who is a survivor of Breast Cancer (1984) and Ovarian (1998) still after 14 surgeries and 18 hospitalizations. A lovely, witty, talented Warrior. Her book can be bought over Amazon. I got one there, autographed, and have not read it yet but if it is as funny as her tale of survivorship, I will enjoy it.
There were about 300 in attendance from the Dallas area and two of us from Midland. Several speakers and talks about their survivor group there at Baylor. I am really glad we made the 300 (one way) trip. My husband enjoyed it too. He is such an angel to care for me.
Hugs and prayers,
Saundra

extravaganza
Saundra,
This Saturday I will be attending a Breast Cancer Awareness Extravaganza at The Farm Restaurant. There will be a style show, Longaberger raffle, luncheon, and speakers.
Limited seating and probably for women only.
Did speak last Tuesday to over 70 women at our church luncheon regarding Ovarian Cancer Awareness. Went very well and many had questions.
Love,
Libby0
