Well, I will be waiting for the Las Vegas report from you women after the big trip. And I don't want to hear, "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" either!

This week-end - I am starting to live my life againtommaseena said:My weekend
Tonight--quiet house Jake is with my sister overnight.
Saturday-Golf Outing then pick Jake up and buy his cub scout shirt and stuff.
Sunday-Jake's first football game--should be hilarious--these boys are 6 and 7 and don't really know anything about football--most of them can't catch a ball--all they want to do is tackle someone.
And in the middle of everything else--do wash--especially Jake's school uniforms--I really need to get more. Drink a few beers. Go over Jake's spelling words--huge list.
Oh and grocery shopping.
Have a great weekend everyone.
Hugs,
Margo
I have spent the better part of a month researching my breast cancer. I been successful in locating a well known breast cancer specialist, who has performed every test known to mankind in association with my bc. I have put my life, my family, career, education, and friends on hold. I am very fortune to have a loving and caring husband who has allowed me to go full speed ahead (ignoring all) with plans to conquer this beast. Yes, some days I spent 10 hours either on the phone or internet compiling information. Fruits of my labor resulted in me started chemo (port issue & all) on 9/8/09 - less than 4 weeks of my diagnosis.
So with my travel size purell, face masks I will enter the world of the here and now, the living. Mexican dinner tonight with family. Saturday - shopping (watch out - I getting ready to stimulate our economy), later meeting good friends - 3 couples for dinner and drinks. Sunday - Church, Football (5 games will be tivo'd)and a visit with my mom. I may have to cook dinner on Sunday .. Yikes .. better rethink Sunday afternoon. Somewhere in the mix of it all, take my daughter shopping for clothes..
My husband Pete, has given me 1 year of house cleaning services as an early Christmas gift. This leaves me time to grocery shop, cook and pamper myself during the week. I'm not working right now, idol time makes VickiSam a dull girl. Did I mention my RN classes started without me... Damn breast cancer.
Living this is what I choose to do from this day forward. Chemo or no Chemo, hair or no hair .. taste buds or no taste buds.
Be safe and enjoy everyone :::-))))))

What a great manifesto. You have done your research and can be assured that you are doing what is best for your case. You needed to know all you could about treatments, surgeons, oncologists, etc. so you can fight with gusto and kick cancer's butt. And now you are ready to resume life and rekindle relationships. You are doing everything right, girl.
And you will love the housecleaning services! I just signed up for weekly cleaning and let me tell you, it's worth every penny. Coming home to a clean house everyday without having to spend half your weekend doing it yourself is a wonderful feeling.
Have a great Mexican dinner and happy football watching!

I get to take my youngest to start college in chicago which is about 2 hours from home, 3 hours if you factor in traffic ... then its empty nest for me...except for the 10 month old golden retriever puppy
Have a great weekend

All 5 of my Grandkids will be here tomorrow afternoon!! They are spending the night!!! One of my Daughters is staying here too so I won't go nuts!!! So we will be grilling, playing games, getting in the hot tub, and soaking up all that LOVE!!! And when they go home on Sunday afternoon I will colapse with a smile on my face!!!0 -
Can't decide....mimivac said:Pammy,
Aww, sorry you are feeling crummy. I think it's great that you have all those auctions going. I wish I could do it. What do you sell? Is it hard to get started? Hope you throw off the yucky feeling and have a great weekend.
Flu shot or Tamoxifen....one of them is making me abnormal (the word fits good). I'm leaning slightly towards the Tamoxifen. Hubby says I don't need the enzyme test to see if it is working. He said to trust him "IT IS WORKING!" I wonder what he meant by that? LOL
Last year I bought a Juke Box and my hubby went crazy picking up boxes of 45's for me!! Now I am going through the hundreds of records and selling most of them, as it is not an easy thing to change out the Juke Box and make new tags (holds 200 songs). So I am only keeping the ones I absolutely love. Apparently, I had some pretty sought after records in those boxes. It's fun but a whole lot of work listing each one, Packaging each one, Then shipping each one. But when I am done with the records, I will be ready to sell my 87 pieces of fiesta ware!! Maybe I'll never have to go back to work if I clean out the whole house!! LOL! ♥Pammy0 -

Where do you live? I grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan, about 4 hours from Chicago. Love, love Chicago. And such great colleges. I'm sure your youngest will get a great education.

I don't have any fun plans
I don't have any fun plans for this weekend. If I ever get through my laundry, I'm going to look into a 3 day weekend trip for hubby & me (and my parents if I can convice them to go) over Thanksgiving. I would really like to go back to Lake Tahoe, even though I won't be able to ski. Lake Tahoe is one of the most relaxing places I've ever been.0 -

Chen, Las Vegas bound Sat-Wed and stayting at the MGM Grand. We're celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary. Our "lost wages" go to meals, entertainment and shopping. Can't remember how many times we've been there, but we're proof that non-gamblers can have a great time in a city that never sleeps.
