Maybe I should write a book. At 24, I've dealt with a lot of issues being thrown my way, but somehow I keep conquering them, and will keep doing so. I have a really weird sleeping pattern when I'm on pain medicines, I sleep when my body says to, I guess that's ok as long as I'm getting some sleep. I did not drive home, no, my husband drove us the 4 and a half hours home, what a rough ride...yuck. As for home health nurses, no, I will not be dealing with any. They taught us how to care for my ostomy before we left, and have contacts if we may need help with that. We also go back to Mayo on Friday for an appointment with my oncologist and another appointment with the ostomy nurses. So, another 4 and a half hour drive and a hotel stay will be interesting...although I'm sure in a couple days I won't be experiencing quite as much pain as I am at the moment. Thanks again for all your notes throughout this last week, it helped a lot.

Cathy,
So happy you are home...at least for a few days before heading back. Continuting to pray for you and your husband. I know I have said it before but I will say it again....you are truly remarkable and I wish I could bottle your optimisim.
