A man and his duck

A man had a duck and one day noticed that something was wrong with the duck.
He took his duck to the vet and said "Please look at my duck, something is wrong with him."
The vet checked the duck and said "I'm sorry, this duck is dead."
The man said "No, it can't be. I'd like another opinion."
The vet motioned and a dog came into the room, sniffed the duck, barked and left.
The vet said "Yes, it has been confirmed that this duck is dead."
The man, clearly upset, said "I love this duck. I'd like another opinion."
The vet motioned and a cat came into the room, sniffed the duck, put her tail in the air and left."
The vet said "Another confirmation that the duck is dead."
The man left and a week later received an invoice for $180.00 from the vet. He called the vet and asked "Why is this so much when all you did was tell me my duck was dead?"
The vet said "I charged you $20 for my diagnosis. The rest of the charges are for the cat scan and the lab work."
