Was recently diagnosed....need some insight on what to expect!

I AM 32 AND FELT A LUMP IN JULY, HAD SURGERY AUG 6TH FOUND OUT I HAD INVASIVE DUCT. CARC. STAGE II AUG. 11TH. I HAD A DBL MASTECTOMY SEPT. 10TH I HAD MY HEART SET ON THE TRAM AND CHICKENED OUT OF THE 14 HOUR SURGERY 2 DAYS B4 SURGERY, I CHOOSE THE TISSUE EXPANDER/IMPLANT SURGERY. I HAD 1 ROUND OF CHEMO, HAVE 3 TO GO THEN 4 TAXOL. THEN I WILL HAVE MY FINAL SURGERY IN FEB. SOMETIME. KNOW THAT YOU ARE NOT ALONE AND KNOW THAT YOU WILL BE OK WE ARE ALL HERE FOR YOU. THE SURGERY WAS PAINFUL THE FIRST WEEK, LUCKLY I GOT TO STAY 3 NIGHTS IN HOSPITAL THEY TOOK GOOD CARE OF ME. I HAD CHEMO THURS. FEELING PRETTY GOOD TODAY. THEY GIVE YOU SO MANY DRUGS TO HELP WITH THE SICKNESS. HANG IN THERE GIRL, EVERYONE ON HERE HAS BEEN SO HELPFUL! WILL GET THROUGH THIS TOGETHER. I AM JUST STARTING CHEMO AND ALREADY THINKING OF FUNDRAISING IDEAS TO RAISE $2300 FOR THE 3 DAY WALK. I HAVE A TEAM OF GIRLS WANTING TO JOIN ME, THE SUPPORT IS AWESOME!0 -
