Has anyone sought treatment outside of US?

Quick summary; sister was dx 03/09 w/ mets to liver and perit. 4 months of Erbitux w 5FU, hoped to have liver resection but cancer spread to lymph node. Back on chemo w/ avastin and 5FU. Wondering if anyone has sought treatment outside of US? Anyone heard of cryosurgery done in FUDA hospital in China? I question if it is so successful, why is it not being done here?

    Hello sfmarie,

    Has your sister sought out any other opinions from other doctors or treatment centers here? There are lots of clinical trials and other options here in the U. S., many of which might be covered by your sister's insurance. Treatment outside the U. S. probably will not, especially if it's not a recognized protocol.
