I get chemoembolization and some RFA on tuesday the 8th, on the 17th they are removing the left side of my thyroid. Then I am getting some more RFA in the first week of october. Hopefully I will be able to begin folfox again soon there after. There isn't any sign of disease in my left lung and three of my liver lesions have cleared up. I have on large lesion in my right lobe, three small nodules in my right lung and two small inoperable lesions in the porta caval cavity, probably in the lymph nodes. My doctors want to clear everything else up, then get me back on chemo, to hopefully get the two small lesion in the lymph. My doctors have been waiting to see if any of my other tumors were killed of by the chemo. In all, 9 tumors completely disappeared. That's pretty good.

    I was NED for three weeks a couple of months ago. Me and NED aren't that close, I've been telling him that sometimes I can be harsh and abrasive but am usually a nice guy. Hopefully he'll visit me again.

    Hi John,

    I'm glad to hear of your tumors that disappeared! You are an inspiration to me in the way you've kept on going and keep fighting things off. Anytime I wonder how long can I keep this up, you are one of the ones I remember as having been through quite a lot, but you keep on going. (Kind of like the Timex watch commercial from a few years ago... You take a licking, but you keep on ticking!
