"I cried because I had no shoes until I met a man who had no feet."

A friend in his mid-70's consoled me when I was diagnosed a few weeks ago. Yesterday our pastor told me that friend was diagnosed with pancreatic, lung and liver cancer on Monday. Yesterday was my turn to try to console.

It's not easy to keep in mind but no matter how bad off we think we may be there is always someone with bigger issues.
