Hang in there Eric
I'm thinking about you and hoping you get a change in scenery very soon. I don't know if they'll let you walk very much but I remember wearing a path around the floor circuit when I couldn't stand to be in the bed any longer. Any chance for a DVD rental?
all the best, Leslie0 -

Hi Eric,
Sorry to hear you're still in the hospital. Hope you get out soon - sending good thoughts your way!
Donna
Well I guess they are paying you back for harrasing them..lol.lol.
My tiles were moving at first ( morphine good stuff) but then they stopped so it wasn't fun trying to count them anymore.
Good luck with getting out of there..I think you will be sprung tomorrow cause they probably can't handel you any more.lol.lol.
Best wishes ................JULIE0 -
There is a comfort zone to a
There is a comfort zone to a degree while there, if something comes up there will be help. But I've seen your room and I know that the walls must be really closing in by now
I hope the breakfasts are better looking than the lunches
Great visit the other day and we really enjoyed meeting your mom.
TV's a drag by now especially with no cable, so my advice is close your eyes and put yourself in a special place and rest whenever they will let you. What's the old saying? "This too shall pass."
But, get outta' there when you can...Craig0 -

Julie - You said it. They have to be sick of me by now. When the nurses start their shift they`re probably thinking "Damn! He`s still here."

Count the holes in each tile...ROFL!
Ah, I remember it well!!!! 4 days for me, and I couldn't eat ANYTHING!!!! And my throat hurt from the NG tube...NASTY!!! I got 3 ice chips each hour...I welcomed the day they said "This isn't working, we need to go back in".
This, too shall pass dearheart!!!

They didn`t tell me what caused it. I don`t think they know for sure. There is a risk of clotting with some chemo drugs and I have not been very active because I am fatigued all the time. It`s probably a combination of the drugs I`m taking and being sedentary. As soon as I get the clot cleared up I am going to make an effort to at least take a few walks every day. I think it`s probably a good idea for all cancer patients to get some exercise.
