Swing Your Partner, Do Si Do
My pain has NOT been identified....but according to my mammogram, my MRI and the exam done by my excellent breast specialist surgeon, I have to ask if I may please break in with whomever is dancing with NED at this moment! She sees nothing suspicious and has assured me it is NOT a recurrance!!!She is not sure what it is, but she is leaning toward thinking it is perhaps muscular-skeletal. I will do some further sleuthing to find out what in the world is going on. But for now, ( and until my oncologist appointment on September 1) I am dancing, and dancing and dancing!!!!!
Thanks for all of the concern; you all are without a doubt THE BEST ever!
Hugs,

Ah, so you were out there celebrating, as we hoped. Dancing with NED is the thing, the most important test result.
Thanks for letting us know, Chen. You have a good evening out there in beautiful Southern California, you and your Reggie--and NED!0 -

Wonderful news Claudia. Glad to hear the pain is "unidentifiable", and nothing to do with a recurrence. Now just find out what it is. Let us know, and in the meantime, we will all be dancing with you....cyberspace style. Hugs,

Whether tango, foxtrot, samba or waltz, please take the floor and dance with NED until, well, until forever. Happy for the good news. And hopeful that they will find what is causing the pain.

Chen, I am so glad that it was not the beast! However, that does not help the pain at all. I hope they will identify the problem and it's an easy fix. Sending you healing thoughts.
Love and gentle hugs,
Donna
PS let me know if you want to borrow the feather boa, I have several and we can happy chair dance together.!!0 -

Very happy to hear this news, Claudia!! Now that you know it isn't "the worst," you can concentrate on helping your doctors to find a solution to the pain. I hope all of this is resolved quickly and that you are dancing pain-free before long!

Checked in here specifically scanning the board for this news!
OK, not so good regarding your continuing pain. Will continue to hope - of course - for quick identification of the source; and, therefore, some really quick relief.
The best part: WOO HOO! Assurance from your excellent specialist - NOT a recurrance! HOORAY! YAY! RELIEVED!
Hope Mr. NED stays with you, always, dear Claudia.
Kind regards, 12/250 -
yay for Claudia
seemed to have missed the post the first time around. So glad to hear the news Claudia, now you can take another deep breath before you find out the cause of the pain.
That Ned has been a pretty busy fella on these boards, hope he keeps it up

So, I think, ( hope) I have the pain diagnosed! I went to a new Dr who almost immediately after having me describe my symptoms, had a diagnosis! He is 99.9999% sure that I have an inflammation where the ribs join the cartilage. I have ALL of the symptoms; he said I am practically textbook for Tietze Syndrome ( I could't help but hear TEATS in that name!) The Dr even suggested I Google it...lo and behold "It can be a side effect following radiation therapy to the chest or BREAST~even years after treatment"...well, la di da!
He gave me a one week supply of Celebrex, and said that he wouldn't be surprised if I wasn't feeling measurably better by Sunday! So, no cancer, and a benign condition hopefully alleviated by meds. OMG~ I was gonna ask if you all have any idea how relieved and happy I am. Of Course you do!!!!
Thanks for all of your watch-care and concern...I love you guys!
