Chemo can cause the
Chemo can cause the strangest reactions~I did not have what you are experiencing, but my chemo caused hiccups SO badly that I had to get a prescription for a mega muscle relaxant! If you are having ANY odd reactions ( such as you are describing) call your Dr! It doesn't matter if he isn't there anymore, someone will be on call and will help you! 24 hours a day, there is someone to get back to you~ there will be a Dr on call!
Let us know what you find out, ok?
Hugs,

I don't know prv, but, it is probably a reaction to your chemo. Do call your doctor. Post and let us know.

YES**Khm said:Swallowing problem
It's my third day after chemo and my second round of a/c, having hard time swallowing even water. Like it just sits, almost like a air bubble. Or like esophagus is tight. Anyone have this happen. I had it last time but it seems stronger on second round.
Yes I had a lot of trouble with swallowing....they even did a special test where I had to drink chalk like liquid and then they put me on a thing that practically turned me upside down while the doctor did some kind of test or other....I'm sorry I'm not up on what exactly it was. My chemo was Adrimysin (the Red Devil) Cytoxin and 5FU..... It has been 12 years and I still have to be careful and chew all meat very very carefully. I'm scared that it will turn into Esophageal Cancer....but haven't spoken about it lately with the Onc. You tell yours...get it checked out like I did.......as for me ...it has been a lot of years and I DO NOT WANT IT TO COME BACK *** (of course I don't)........Sending Prayers for Courage and Strength each day.......and HUGS
