No appt for 4 months!! Hurrah! Port out next Wednesday
My surgeon is overloaded but they squeezed me in for my port removal on Wednesday, Sept. 2nd, first visit of the morning.

Ah, Port Removal
What a lovely thing to hear
I remember when I got my 1st one out - a week before Christmas in 2004 and it was the best thing ever to reach over on that side of my chest and not feel a "bump."
Ports always remind me the stuff is real and there is an invader in your body - getting it out feels go good. I am happy for you.
Can't wait till I hear that the 2nd one can go too...it's been in much longer this time due to my situation.
Best of luck and enjoy your cancer free life - you did it!
