    Hi Kathi,

    I just talked to Serrana on the phone last night and was just about to post a thread on Serrana having surgery, myself. You beat me to it! :) We just recently met, as we discovered we live about a 1/2 hr away from each other and have much in common. She told me about how her Dr. at UCI hooked her up with you for help when she first started going through all this (you're an inspiration to her, me, and others- what is it now- 5 or 6 yrs NED?!).

    Anyhow, to others- her surgery is today in San Diego at about 3 pm PST. I think it's called a thoracatemy (not sure of that spelling)- they are removing two tumors and some lymph nodes in her right lung, going in through the same location in her back from when she had a similar surgery a year ago.
    Serrana is a strong Christian and asked me to post asking for Christians to pray for her (and I know she'll be glad to hear of all other well wishes too :)
