Brown Finger Nails

I noticed that I have brown spots on my nails. I know that they told me that my finger nails could fall off because of chemo, so I'm not sure if this is part of it. I don't have acrylics anymore so I can see it. Thing is I just noticed it two days ago. Anyone else notice this?

I had 3 fingernails and several toe nails turn black. No brown spots though.
I lost several toe nails, they actually cracked horizontially at the cuticle and as they grew out got worse. Finally broke off. Foot doctor told me he could tell exactly how many months I had been having chemo due to where the break was.0 -

I have noticed some discoloring of the nails - especially toe nails. I bought one of those 4 sided files from the dollar store to remove the ridges, smooth out with the fine or medium file, and shine the nail. I put on a coat of Revlon Sheer Petal nailpolish and a top coat of quick dry shine. The nails look real clean and fresh. It looks much better now. Hope this helps.0
