Hi Ladies,
I saw my internist today, he gave me a thorough examination, asked lots of questions, looked at my July CT scan report, and my blood work from last week.
He said my severe pain, n/v and sweats from Monday are not related to passing a stone or gall bladder disease, or my 2 hernias.
He said he feels that I have H Pylori an infection in the stomach, or where it attaches to the small intestine.
He did a blood test to confirm, and I'll get antibiotics if it's positive.
He said if it's untreated, it could develop into cancer, don't need that, one is enough.
I'm relieved that it's not more serious than that.
Have a pleasant day tomorrow, and thanks again for all your concern.

THAT IS GOOD NEWS
And that it has been caught early. Yes, unfortunately it has been linked to stomach cancer. But again, it is treatable in early stages and I'm so glad your doctor had the insight to check for it.
I hope the antibiotics help you to feel better soon. Let us know how you're doing!

That's easier to treat than the other choices. Keep us posted. Saundra
This is good news that you have caught this early. Gosh, we are all learning so much here, we will be able to hang our "shingle" out soon! But seriously, this is such a great place to be educated. I am glad this problem has been caught early for you and is treatable. Please keep us posted on your progress. Hugs, Cindy
