****'s done with #12!!!!

We want to thank you for your incredible support the past 8 months. Being a member of this board since the very beginning of ****'s diagnosis has been instrumental in us getting through it all. Thank you for answering our questions and sharing your experiences with us.
**** unhooked from #12 Folfox 6 today. He has a CAT scan in 2 weeks. He was NED after surgery in January and again in April. We pray for NED now and forever.
Thinking of all of you.

Aloha,
Kathleen

Just out of curiosity because I have not made it to the Aloha state yet...which island are you on - must be really something to wake up everyday in paradise, huh?

Please convey to **** my congratulations and you both have my good wishes. I once saw Dr. Jao, my gastroenterologist, emerging from the Kailua Safeway, so maybe I'll see you or **** around, sometime. It's more likely I'd recognize you than you me, I guess, since I'm a strange bird.

Hi Greg,
****'s doc is Jao as well. He's the one who found the tumor back in January. We do shop at Kailua Safeway... so keep a look out for us. (Where did the sun go today?) Thanks for the kind words.

Kathleen:
That is wonderful news.
Certainly, you both have something very important to celebrate; together, you've faced down a very formidable foe with courage, perseverance and dignity. It has always been obvious to me from your posts that your love for each other has given you the extra strength you needed to undertake such a struggle.
I hope you both enjoy lasting good health and many wonderful times together.
