When the initial post in a thread is deleted, all replies are automatically deleted. By the same token, when a post within a thread is deleted, replies to it are also deleted simply because there is no longer a context for them.
I deleted communication in which there was name-calling and other unacceptable communication. Conflicts can be healthy and productive, but name-calling, abusive language, or other disrespectful interaction is not.

I understand how if the initial thread is removed, all subsequent responses are too. Sort of the parent/child relationship.
Hopefully it won't happen again in that manner. There will always be disputes and differences of opinions since we are a microcosm of society. I agree that the name calling is uncalled for.
