I had the same ..taxatere?carboplatin and Herceptin, I never had anything happen to my scalp because of this, could it be that you shaved your head and something (a razor/shaver)irritated it? I know you must keep your shavers clean and sterile. But I do say ask the Doc. I know an allergic reaction will itch, Do you itch any where else besides your scalp?

I don't know. Hopefully the doctor can take care of you today. Good luck!

I had taxol/herceptin and after I started losing my hair and had a friend shave it ... I noticed those little red bumps too. Some of it might have been from the shaving ... but it didn't go away so my oncologist sent me to a dermatologist. She gave me a prescription for a spray foam stuff that I rubbed on my head twice a day ... and it really helped with the itching.
Check with a dermatologist ...
hugs.
