Sharing resources. A rotating library!!!

Hi Ladies,

What a great resource we are to each other!!!! I think it's awesome - all the info and encouragement that we share. Now I wonder if we can take it another step - a rotating library!

Linda sent me the Kris Carr video. I am sharing it with Mimi - then I will send on to the next person who wants it.

I also have CDs on meditation & guided imagery that help with relaxation, healing, and boosting the immune system (and it's ALL ABOUT the immune system as we have been discussing here)

If anyone is interested in the video or CDs, contact me at daisyelder@comcast.net

Does anyone else have resources they will share??

Mary Ann

    Fantastic idea.

Could we also at least list the book titles or web sites that we think might be helpful?

I have a great book on HYSTERECTOMIES
I have a great new book wriiten by a gynecologist on hysterectomies and preparing for them. I'd be happy to share it with anyone awaiting their surgery date. I also have Kris Carr's 'Crazy Sexy Cancer' book, which I'm about halfway through but can pass on when I'm done.

I think it would be fun to have 'virtul hat parties' for the women posting here getting their first chemo, with everyone mailing them a hat.

Anyone have Fran Dresher's 'Cancer Schmancer'?
I didn't realize that Fran Dresher ("The Nanny") had uterine cancer; I thought it was ovarian. But my new gyn-onc asked me if I'd read her book and said that she had uterine cancer. Before I order it, I thought I'd post here and see if anyone else has it that would lend it to me. Thanks!

    Great idea, Mary Ann
I have been reading Louise Hay's I Can Do It book, that also has a great CD, about positive affirmations and her old one that I have had for years You Can Heal your Life. They are still in active use, by me. I just finished Randy Pausch's book the Last Lecture that has alot of good info about enjoying life to it's fullest that I would be happy to share. Get me your address and I will mail it out. Just ask that I get it back at some point. Trying to get my husband to read it; but to no avail.
Best to you, Mary Ann! Kathy(irishnurse@hotmail.com)

    I LOVED 'Last Lecture'.
I got 'Last Lecture' in hard copy; I liked it that much. Any takers for my hysterectomy book or Kris Carr's 1st 'Crazy Sexy Cancer' book?
