A little girl two and a half years old has Anaplastic Astrocytoma WHO Grade 3. She underwent radiation treatment together with chemotherepy. Upon conclusion of treatment the tumor has shrunken 75%
The proposed plan for now is 10 cycles of chemotherepy (Tamador)
5 days per month.
Please, can anyone share with us their knowledge or self experience about the prognosis of such a case.

I just read you story and that is great, I was just told today from a friend of mine that a friend of her's has a 13 year old daughter that was just diagnoised about 3 weeks ago with Anaplastic Astrocytoma Grade 3 and they are not sure that the radiation is going to work for her. I know what this mom feels like, like you are losing someone that you love the only reason that I say that is because 3 1/2 years ago my daughter age 10 at that time was disgnoised with a medulloblastoma. It is the most horrifying feeling knowing that you can't do anything for them but just let them know that they are not going throuh it alone and never will be alone at all. My daughter is now 15 and doing great she will be cancer free 4 years the end of November, we take everyday as a new one just because we never know what is going to happen. It is a very good possibility that her cancer will come back we just don't know when or where.
I guess I am writing to maybe get some insight on how I can help this family out with myself have been through this you just don't ever think that It is going to happen to someone else that you know. I would like to know if there is anyone out there that can give me some resourses and maybe head this family in the right direction. Thanks for listening0
