I said nervous... not scared. But why is it all the sudden my entire stomach has all these symptoms going on??? Like pain that wasn't there b4..... bumps...cramps.... and of course I am sitting here saying "please don't let it be anything new" Okay... maybe I am just freaking out. I am feeling positive. I went in for my 5th treatment today feeling "positive" and my WBC was extremely low. They had to call the onc and he said go ahead but I have to go back in 24 hours for some shot to boost my WBC????? and perhaps will always need the shot???? As long as I don't have to stop the chemo I'll do whatever it takes. Okay... took a deep breath. I know I will be up all nite.

    Hi sweetie......
I'll be up all night also....Im at work...Neulasta will be the shot you get probably or Neupagen.....either way they neither one hurt and are given either in the stomach or behind the arm in the fatty part of the body. If you will have them hold it in their hand for a bit to warm it and also if it burns or stings a little tell them to slow down administering it. It will quit burning then but it is a simpler shot to get......

    Its ok
    Hi there,
Its normal to be nervous, scared and have other symptoms when you have got stuff happening that is new to you... I understand where you are coming from..But you need to take some deep breaths and do things to get your mind off of it...Read, do a puzzel,go for a long walk, listen to music just do something to keep you busy...I read at night till I can't see anymore thaen I just go to sleep..So relax and everything will be ok......JULIE

    Thinking of you
    Hi Jennie,
We will be thinking of you. Sending you good thoughts. They actually got pre auth to give John that shot if he needs it. So far he hasn't dropped to that point but is close. It can only help if you need it. Best to you Paula
