Hey everyone....

Well, the CT scan showed fluid around my liver and lungs, so I am having further testing the next couple of days here at Mayo to find out if it's a residual effect from chemo/radiation or if it's cancer. I will update when I know what's going on! :0)

Cathy

Hey, as I always say..."Life's not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain."

Love you guys!!!

    fluid
    Cathy,
The first time Charlie had the fluid drained (this was when he was being diagnosed in March) they drained 4 1/2 liters. We thought that was a lot!! 2 1/2 weeks later when he was admitted for his first round of chemo, they had to drain the fluid again. That time it was 7 liters! His nurse was teasing him.....said he looked like Octoman (looked like he was pregnant with 8 babies!!!)
In all seriousness (is that a word??) we are praying for you. Hope your results are good.

    wow!
Wow, that is quite a bit!! It does make me feel a bit better knowing others have had fluid as well. When I was getting it drained today, the doc told me that a couple days ago they drained 23 liters out of a guy...can you imagine?! 23 liters!!!

    Thanks for the prayers!!
