Hello,
i have been diagnosed with CIN3 AND VIN3 caused by hpv and on both sides of the outer labia. I have had a LEETZ for CIN3 and a wide excision for VIN3 on the right side, i am to commence aldara for the left side.
I am in my 20's. i have read it is rare to develop at a young age. Treatment seems promising for CIN3 however VIN3 scares me to the bone. I am depressed, unhappy and unable to concentrate. MY relationship and career are suffering.
i have read once diagnosed repeat surgery is needed. i am frightened of a possible vulvectomy in the future after reading up on the reoccurance rates, and also eventually cancer. I would appreciate any advice/support from fellow sufferes.

Here is a link which may be helpful.
jipsy,
I am very sorry that I can't be more helpful, but I was diagnosed and treated for testicular cancer when I was 28 and remember what it was like to be young, beginning a career, and married with cancer. You need and deserve a response and I did do some research to find a link for patients with your diagnosis, accessed via:

My heart goes out to you, along with my prayers for your career, relationship , and cure.
Love and Courage!
Rick
