Your problems
If you have a bladder infection you have to urinate often and it burns. Do you have a fever? Does your urine have a bad odor? You may need to call your surgeon and go in and give them a urine specimen to see if you have an infection; it is important to do that instead of self medicating at home. If you are itching you might have a vaginal yeast infection from antibiotics they gave you durig surgery. If you are passing gas rectally and having some burping you probably don't have a bowel obstruction. Is your tummy big and distended? Does it hurt? If not you probably don't have a bowel obstruction. Call your surgeon and tell him or her your symptoms. If they worsen go to the emergency room.

Itching could be a yeast infection...?
I get so many bug bites and regularly get patches of poison ivy from working in my garden project at the wood's edge, (sometimes in 'delicate' areas, too, somehow). I was scratching at my son's house and he gave me a tube of Gold Bond Medicated Anti-Itch Creme. Wow! It's like you were holding an ICE CUBE against the area! It has menthol in it ansd it feels so coooool and minty-fresh like toothpaste feels in your mouth. I had to post this so that you'll look for it at the drug store, maise-colored tube with a red cap. It feels absolutely WONDERFUL and the itch is gone the second it's applied. The relief lasts long enough that you can get to sleep, too. Worth trying for sure.0
