i had my second chemo last Wednesday. I have been blessed that I have not had a lot of side effects, except after that darn shot....can't think of the name of it. Oh, and of course my hair is gone. After about three days of watchings it come out, I went to my stylist and we buzzed it. I was brave...NO TEARS. I suprised myself. After the shot, I feel like a have the flu for about 3 days after. My ankles and feet hurt soooooo bad. What is that about? My doctor says it's normal. Is there anything to help it.
Also, I cannot get used to wearing a wig. They are sooooo hot and uncomfortable. Does anyone know of a good brand that doesn't feel so constraining and HOT?
thanks!

Wigs
Hi special,
Sorry to hear about the side effects! About a wig: have you tried a wig liner? I wore a wig with no problem, but my chemo was through a VERY cold winter here, and it was either a wig or a hat all the time!
I hope some of the board ladies can make a suggestion about lighter wigs for you!

I think so. Do you know of anything to help the hurting feet and ankles?
Try tylenol, it helps my back - slightly.
